Job

The role of Cashroom Officer will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

• Operating in compliance with all relevant regulations including The Law Society of Scotland (LSS), Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and Anti Money Laundering (AML)
• Maintaining firm and client accounts
• Processing CHAPS & BACS transactions
• Bank reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end procedures
• Daily banking routines and balancing
• Purchase ledger invoice management
• Ensuring that the service needs of the Firm are delivered efficiently and effectively

You

As a Cashroom Officer you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

• Proven experience within a finance role, preferably within a legal environment
• Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of confidentiality
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Relevant qualifications are an advantage
