Three Bridges Recruitment is working with a mission-led organisation based in Edinburgh, with the opportunity work primarily remotely if required.  They're recruiting a Finance Business Partner who can bring strong commercial insight & help shape a new mindset around how finance supports operations. Based anywhere (but with travel to Edinburgh periodically) with a flexible hybrid model, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a mark in a values-driven business undergoing exciting change.

Job 📌
As Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in shifting finance from reporting to real-time decision-making. You’ll:

• Partner with Heads and Project Managers to guide budget ownership and forecasts
• Drive commercial thinking and influence a profit-positive mindset
• Lead on financial performance reporting and systems change initiatives
• Deliver insight through monthly projections and risk/opportunity analysis
• Own key elements of financial compliance and process improvement
• Step up on board-level KPIs, project reporting, and transformation programmes

You 🧠
As Finance Business Partner, you’ll be confident in your ability to blend financial rigour with strategic thinking. You'll bring:

• Experience as a Finance Business Partner in a reasonably large organisation
• Proven ability to influence decision-makers and deliver financial projects
• Sharp commercial awareness and the ability to simplify complexity
• Experience with finance systems (especially change or implementation projects)
• Excellent interpersonal skills – comfortable engaging non-financial stakeholders
• Accountancy qualification is preferred
• Ideally a commercial background
• A mindset that embraces change, questions the status quo, and supports growth
