Job

The role of Credit Controller / Cashroom Assistant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Providing efficient credit control services and associated tasks
  • Proactively contacting clients to ensure timely payments
  • Effectively dealing with invoice queries and managing queries to resolution
  • Generating reminder letters and monthly statements
  • Assisting in the development of an in-house credit control database
  • Enhancing and updating current credit control procedures
  • Providing assistance with raising fee notes and credit notes
  • Processing client and firm postings and expenses claims
  • Handling of payments, including cheques and electronic transfers
  • Processing deposit account transactions and reconciling reports
  • Adhering to firm procedures and law society rules
  • Contributing to process efficiency improvements

You

As a Credit Controller / Cashroom Assistant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Proven experience in credit control within a legal or similar professional environment
  • High competency in managing financial data and using financial systems
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team
