Job

The role of Finance Assistant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

• Processing routine financial transactions with attention to authorisation and coding
• Responsible for basic payroll administration
• Involvement with petty cash and credit card transactions
• Involvement with accounts receivable or accounts payable
• Pairing reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate database records
• Addressing finance-related queries
• Processing staff expenses and managing daily banking operations
• Building relationships and ensuring effective communication across departments

You

As a Finance Assistant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

• Experience in processing financial transactions is essential
• Knowledge of basic payroll administration would be beneficial
• High competence in Microsoft Office and financial systems, ideally Sage
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills, capable of working to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a flexible and 'can-do' attitude
