As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for the preparation of accounts assignments and reporting to the Client Manager.  This is a great opportunity to work under the guidance of a Manager.  You will be expected to use your technical knowledge to identify areas for improvements.

Job

The role of Accounts Senior will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

• Preparing accounts for a range of companies from small up to medium and large sized companies under FRS 102 including groups and consolidations
• Review work of junior members of the team
• Support junior team members with the development of their technical skills
• Manage a portfolio of clients to deliver work to high standards and to timescales
• Be the client’s first point of contact on day-to-day queries
• Meet with clients to discuss their accounts and any ad hoc project work
• Travel to client sites occasionally
• Work with other departments in the firm to assist in the delivery of other compliance and advisory services to clients
• Reporting to client manager

You

As an Accounts Senior you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

• Experience in the above is essential
• Qualifications are not essential
• Relevant experience in practice with OMBs
• Preparing accounts under FRS 102
• IRIS and Xero experience beneficial but not essential
• Strong communicator and strong comfortable dealing with clients
• Strong time management and commercial awareness
• Competent and embracing of IT
