Job Description

Three Bridges Recruitment are supporting a major international organisation through a period of restructuring.  They’re recruiting for an Accountant on an initial 9-month fixed-term contract.  You’ll work closely with their newly appointed Finance Manager and play a key role in keeping month-end, reporting and compliance running smoothly across multiple countries.  Experience with US GAAP and exposure to SOX will be especially valuable here, given the scale and control environment you’ll be joining.

The aim is to complete interviews before Christmas, with a start date of 5th January.

Job

As Accountant, your work will include:

• Supporting month-end close and delivering accurate, timely reporting
• Managing accounting, compliance and internal controls for allocated business units
• Ensuring strong audit outcomes (internal, external and statutory)
• Applying solid knowledge of US GAAP and contributing to SOX-related processes
• Working closely with the new Manager
• Liaising with finance and operational leaders across several countries
• Identifying opportunities to simplify processes and strengthen controls
• Working confidently within a multi-location, international environment
• Using a large ERP system as part of daily operations

You

As an Accountant, you’ll bring:

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant status, or equivalent experience
• Experience working in a complex or rapidly growing organisation
• Strong understanding of statutory audits
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Exposure to internal controls and, ideally, SOX
• Comfort working with multiple locations and teams
• Clear, confident communication skills
• Experience with large ERP systems
• A steady, collaborative approach suited to change and restructuring
