Three Bridges Recruitment is currently partnering with a Scottish Public Sector organisation, based in Edinburgh, to recruit a Finance Manager on an interim basis, initially for a period of 6 months.

Job

The role of Finance Manager will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Lead directorate financial management, including preparation of variance reports and financial planning
  • Manage month end processes and financial reporting
  • Support financial planning and assist with business case proposals
  • Monitor major projects for accurate financial forecasting and budget alignment
  • Educate non-finance colleagues in financial policies and procedures
  • Support governance functions and financial management responsibilities

You

As a Finance Manager you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Ideally a qualified Accountant although QBE or PQ will be considered
  • Proven experience in financial management and account reconciliations
  • Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Experience in financial reporting and briefing
  • Skilled in financial/business data interpretation for decision support
  • Competent in building relationships, problem-solving, communication, and planning
