Three Bridges Recruitment are recruiting exclusively for a Head of Finance to join our clients’ Senior Management Team. This is a critical role leading their Finance Department, with responsibility for shaping strategy, driving performance, and ensuring strong governance across the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and Qualified finance professional to take on a senior leadership role where your impact will be felt across the whole organisation, and the communities they serve.

Job
The role of Head of Finance will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Leading and managing the Finance Department, ensuring robust systems and compliance
- Providing expert financial advice to the Managing Director, Board of Trustees & senior colleagues
- Managing financial planning, annual accounts, treasury, pensions & risk management
- Carrying out the role of Company Secretary and governance lead
- Producing clear reporting for internal & external stakeholders, including funders
- Identifying efficiency, improvement and savings opportunities
- Leading change and continuous improvement across all financial functions
- Building effective partnerships internally and externally
You
As Head of Finance, you will be skilled and experienced in the following:
- Qualified Accountant - Essential
- Proven experience at senior/strategic finance level
- Strong technical expertise in financial planning, reporting, treasury & risk management
- Experience managing finance teams and driving service improvement
- Commercially aware, able to apply principles in a not-for-profit setting
- Resilient, decisive and adaptable with strong leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage complex funding arrangements
- Confident communicator, able to influence and advise at Board level
- Experience in the public, voluntary or charity sector is desirable but not essential
