Job
The role of Assistant Accountant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Preparation and dispatch of invoices using Sage Intacct, informed by details from Hubspot (CRM)
- Management of customer and supplier accounts on Sage Intacct
- Weekly review of invoice accuracy with the CFO
- Management of outstanding debts and payments, ensuring timely follow-ups
- Administration of credit checks and bank reconciliations
- Maintenance of digital filing systems for invoices
- Monitoring and managing internal employee expense systems
- Undertaking additional duties as required to support the Finance team
You
As an Assistant Accountant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Bookkeeping qualification or a numerate subject, or qualified by experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar finance role
- Demonstrable initiative and self-motivation
- Strong accounting and Excel skills
- Adept at using finance systems and generating reports
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
- Experience with Sage Intacct (ERP) is highly desirable
- Eligibility for security clearance requiring 5 years of UK residency and history
