Three Bridges Recruitment is partnering with a fantastic not for profit organisation in Edinburgh looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to play a leading role in their finance function.  This is great opportunity to lead a small team & the success of the organisation.

Job

The role of Senior Finance Business Partner will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Management and production of quarterly management accounts
  • Preparation and delivery of lender covenant calculations and reporting
  • Leading the liaison with external auditors for annual statutory accounts
  • Maintenance of monthly ledger control reconciliations
  • Provision of advice and support to budget holders on budget management
  • Enhancing finance process efficiencies across the organisation
  • Management and development of a dedicated finance team
  • Production of benchmarking data on financial performance

You

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Accountancy qualifications would be advantageous but definitely not essential
  • Proven efficiency in financial control and management accounts reporting
  • Experience in developing and managing staff performance
  • Ability to build cross-departmental relationships to enhance communication and understanding
  • Competency in financial accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Exceptional organisational and planning abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines
  • Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivation with a positive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving
  • Empathetic, innovative, and able to maintain organisational values
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other offices or venues
