The Role
As a Personal Tax Associate, you’ll play an active role in delivering tax compliance and advisory services to a varied client portfolio. You’ll gain broad exposure across all aspects of private client tax, including:

  • Preparing personal, trust, partnership, inheritance tax, and capital gains tax returns

  • Assisting on tax planning and advisory projects, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and residence/domicile matters

  • Liaising with clients and HMRC to gather information, resolve queries, and ensure smooth communication

  • Conducting research on tax legislation and supporting advisory work

  • Assisting the wider team with administrative and technical support as needed


Your Profile
We’re looking for someone who demonstrates:

  • A minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant discipline

  • A genuine interest in developing a career in personal tax

  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and an aptitude for learning new systems
