Job Description

Three Bridges Recruitment are working on behalf of a global property services organisation to recruit a Client Accounts Reporting Advisor for their team in Glasgow. This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working.

This is a client-facing reporting position with a strong technical core, delivering complex standard & bespoke reporting across a portfolio, & acting as a key point of contact for both clients & internal service teams. It suits someone comfortable in a corporate environment  & confident working with UK-wide stakeholders, including colleagues in London.

What you’ll do

Delivering high-quality reporting outputs & statutory requirements across your client portfolio::

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for your client group, resolving queries & providing support
  • Being the internal point of contact for the Surveying & Management Services teams, working closely to deliver strong outcomes
  • Delivering bespoke reporting to stakeholders in line with internal/contractual KPIs
  • Preparing full statutory accounts
  • Owning VAT reporting, including VAT returns to HMRC
  • Preparing complex journals
  • Reviewing trial balances & taking corrective actions where required
  • Preparing reconciliations, including reconciliation of clients’ funds & ensuring cash is paid over in line with agreed procedures
  • Preparing IPD returns
  • Coordinating & resolving funding issues across the portfolio
  • Ensuring compliance with ISAE3402 controls & any client-required frameworks
  • Reviewing transition packs & coordinating with other teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Attending client & internal meetings
  • Reviewing/approving other team members’ work where required & supporting newer colleagues through knowledge-sharing
  • Supporting re-engineering & efficiency improvements across the team

About you

Ideally you’ll be skilled in:

  • Delivery of statutory accounts
  • Delivery of VAT reporting
  • Preparation of complex journals
  • Review of trial balance & corrective actions
  • Experience in a professional financial services environment (ideally a larger firm)
  • A confident, client-facing approach & the ability to represent the business well with a UK-wide stakeholder group
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, & a calm approach under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills & confidence making decisions
  • Part-qualified (preferred), or actively working towards ACCA/CIMA
